Hit and Miss Fitness Trends



In today’s fitness conscious society it seems that any trend that guarantees results gains instant  attention  by the masses no matter how odd or far-fetched. It would seem that all a trend truly needs is an endorsement by Hollywood for it to catch on like wild fire and like most flames are just as easily extinguished.

Throughout the years we’ve had the pleasure of enduring some pretty lofty health revolutions. Here are 3 of my favorites from the past couple as posted on h3daily.com’s Top 10 Fitness Trends of 2010: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly:

Zumba

The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.

Cardio Strip Tease Classes

The fitness crazies have finally combined hot bodies and hot moves.  Variations may include pole and chair dancing. 

Shake Weight 

To be honest, it just kind of freaks me out.  Don’t be fooled by the gimmick.
